Broadway-style play about suicide prevention, mental health coming to Jasper, Vincennes

VINCENNES, Ind. 鈥 A meaningful play is coming to the 日韩中文字幕福利片 and Vincennes University Jasper campuses.

Josh Rivedal will perform the Broadway-style, one-man show 鈥Kicking My Blue Genes in the Butt鈥 on Sept. 26 in Jasper and Vincennes. The show addresses themes of suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

The performances are free and open to the public.

Rivedal鈥檚 performance at 日韩中文字幕福利片 Jasper is from noon-1 p.m. in the Jasper Campus Classroom Building. It is part of a Lunch and Learn event. The 60-minute, three-part program features the play, an education session, and a discussion focusing on mental health.

Rivedal鈥檚 performance in Vincennes is from 4-6 p.m. in the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center Theater located on the VU campus.  

Rivedal is an actor, international public speaker, author, and playwright. As a public speaker, he focuses on suicide prevention, mental health, diversity/inclusion, and anti-bullying.
