Media Advisory - Chemistry High School Lab Days at VU

WHAT: Chemistry High School Lab Days offer an immersive experience for students to explore their passions and interests through college-level chemistry experiments such as burning snack foods to determine the energy given off and using organic reactions to prepare an antibiotic.

Since 2002, this event has served as a unique occasion for hundreds of high school students to connect with VU鈥檚 expert faculty and learn about academic programs across disciplines. Chemistry High School Lab Days also give students an opportunity to meet with current VU students, who will share their experiences and offer insights into college life.
