VINCENNES, Ind. - The 日韩中文字幕福利片 Department of Music will present 鈥淎 Christmas Gala鈥� on Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. EST in the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center Theatre, 20 W. Red Skelton Blvd.

The concert is free and the public is invited to attend. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The concert will include a wide variety of choral and instrumental literature ranging from traditional carols to jazz/rock tunes and pop selections as well as standard holiday favorites. The performance will showcase a variety of VU student performing groups, including the VU Concert Band and the VU Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Susie Jackson; the VU Concert Choir and the 鈥淰U Connection鈥�, under the direction of Dr. Jennifer Harris; the VU Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Addisson Grimm; the VU Blues Ensemble, under the direction of Virgil Franklin; the VU String Ensemble, under the direction of Diana Wuli; and the VU Woodwind Ensemble, under the direction of Joyce Kim-Rohrer. Featured faculty soloists include Mike Howell, guitar.

Pre-concert entertainment will be provided in the lobby by VU piano students and piano faculty.

Founded in 1801, VU is Indiana鈥檚 first college and is the only college in the nation founded by an individual who would later become President of the United States.
