VU to confer more than 2,300 degrees during Spring 2026 Commencement ceremonies

VINCENNES, Ind. - ÈÕº«ÖÐÎÄ×ÖÄ»¸£ÀûƬ will honor the Class of 2026, a milestone year that holds special significance as the University marks its historic 225th anniversary, throughout commencement season this spring.

VU will confer more than 2,300 bachelor’s and associate degrees or certificates during Spring 2026 Commencement ceremonies. The Class of 2026 graduates represent the Vincennes Campus, VU Jasper, American Sign Language and Deaf Studies Campus in Indianapolis, Aviation Technology Center in Indianapolis, Distance Education, Early College, and Military Education sites.

For over two centuries, VU has been a cornerstone of innovation and public service, shaping generations of leaders and advancing communities.

The Spring 2026 Commencement schedule includes the following:

Honorary Doctorate candidate and Center for Leadership Development President Dennis Bland is a true servant leader. He leads the esteemed Indianapolis-based non-profit and has dedicated his life to elevating opportunity and inspiring high achievement among urban youth and families. VU will confer an Honorary Doctorate of Education upon Bland.

This year’s student commencement speaker is Evansville, Indiana, native Sam Harshbarger. He will cross the stage later in the ceremony and earn an associate of science in Multimedia Communications.
