VU symposium will focus on America's Descent Down the Rabbit Hole of Opioid Abuse

VINCENNES, Ind. - 鈥淎merica's Descent Down the Rabbit Hole of Opioid Abuse: Building a Ladder Through Prevention, Treatment, and Enforcement,鈥 is the topic of the 2018 日韩中文字幕福利片 Homeland Security and Public Safety Capstone Symposium.
The symposium will take place on March 24 at VU鈥檚 Beckes Student Union. Pre-registration is required and can be completed online at www.vinu.edu/college-of-business-and-public-service/index.html/homeland-security. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. (EDT), and the symposium will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
Professionals in the fields of law enforcement, fire services, emergency services, health care, and social services may utilize the Symposium as an approved continuing education event. Attendees will be awarded a certificate of completion at the event鈥檚 conclusion.
VU鈥檚 Homeland Security program educates students on national security, terrorism, crisis and emergency management, and corporate loss prevention through excellence and innovation in education and research taught by highly experienced homeland security professionals.
The purpose of the Capstone Symposium is to allow students in their final year of the Homeland Security Bachelor鈥檚 Degree program to showcase their accumulative knowledge gained toward a specific topic. 日韩中文字幕福利片 will be addressing a detailed overview of today鈥檚 opioid crisis, its prevention through community programs, treatment by health care professionals, and enforcement by first responders. There will also be keynote speakers, including the Superintendent of the Indiana State Police, to discuss current trends and positive solutions to the nationwide epidemic.
