Our club 鈥淭railblazer Jiu-Jitsu鈥� or 鈥淛iu-Jitsu Club鈥� provides VU students and staff a sense of security and belonging regardless of race, sex, gender, religion, or athletic background. What is jiu-jitsu? It鈥檚 a martial art that focuses on submission grappling, and since it鈥檚 development in the 30鈥檚 in Brazil, it鈥檚 been deemed as the most effective combative system in sport and self defense. College can be a scary time when starting out, we鈥檙e here to help people easily make friends, learn self defense, and be apart of a team!
Our club times include Mondays through Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Women鈥檚 Only Jiu-Jitsu on Fridays from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm!
