Federally required disclosures are mandated by the Higher Education Act of 1965 as amended 2008 (HEOA), the , the Clery Act (formerly known as the Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act), and the Violence Against Women Act. Under these laws, universities are required to provide information regarding enrollment, financial, retention and graduation rates, student outcomes data, and campus crime statistics to assist all potential and currently enrolled students in making responsible decisions regarding their education.
